DISTRICT TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP INVENTORY (DTLI)
The DTLI is designed to help principals and district level leaders understand the current readiness of the central office to engage in widespread improvement through district wide improvement efforts by promoting school improvement in all schools. The "transformed" central office can lead district wide improvement efforts that result in system reform across schools. The characteristics of districts successful at promoting school improvement in all schools have features in common that define the framework for rapid "district improvement." The DTLI enables participants to carefully examine how the district is currently working to facilitate school improvement to impact on student achievement and then to develop an action plan to enhance this work.
